Don't forget to bring a visit to the former house of Spanish author, philosopher and educator, Miguel de Unamono. His essays had great influence in early 20 th century Spain . Between 1900 to 1914 he was the rector of the University of Salamanca and used to lived with his family in this house, which today serves as a museum, dedicated to De Unamono. Here you can find his office with authentic furniture and an impressive library. The huge collection of books contains more than 6.000 specimens, many of them with dedication to the author or even with inscriptions by him.

Museo Taurino (Bullfight Museum)
Bullfights, as an integral part of Spanish culture and history, have their museums all over the country. The Museo Taurino in Salamanca pays homage to both the men and bulls of region of Castile & Leon with posters, paintings, equipment, and artwork on display. The exhibition is divided into three parts: bulls, toreadors and the art connected with this bullfight's tradition.

of the City)
This is a museum where the historical development of the city is shown. Take a look at archaeological discoveries from the city of Salamanca and the remains of buildings that don't exist any more.
