Salamanca is a popular choice for tourists and - Spanish and foreign - students. Why? Maybe it's because of the incredible amount of bars, clubs and cafés that open their doors mostly every day.

Another positive thing is that the Salamanca`s venues take into account with student budgets. In other words, going out in Salamanca is friendly for your wallet. A very good Spanish invention is the ‘Bara Libre' Concept. When entering a bar, you pay about three (for beer) or six euros (when preferring mixed drinks), and from then you can drink how much you want, for free.

After you've enjoyed your tapas and drinks, it's time for to move your body in a discoteca. After midnight, lot's of Salamancan café-bars turn into dance venues. Do not spill your energy too early, during weekends the real discotheques start being packed from four of five in the morning.
